Originally founded in 1973 as the Midwest Organ Bank, the organization has provided transplant and procurement services to transplant centers and hospitals throughout the region for nearly 4 decades.

The Board of Directors is responsible for approving the goals, objectives and policies of the organization necessary to accomplish the following vision and mission statements:

That the treatment of disease and suffering not be limited by the lack of transplantable organs and tissues.

Mission

Together - we save lives through organ and tissue donation.

The successful development of organ and tissue transplantation is one of the most extraordinary triumphs of modern medicine. Unfortunately, the ability to deliver this miracle is limited by a severe shortage of donors.
