Midwest Transplant Network has a rich history of partnering with Kansas and Missouri hospitals to bring the gift of life to those in need throughout our region. Our Hospital Services staff works closely with healthcare professionals, sharing best practices and important information about organ, tissue and eye donation. Our goal is to ensure every hospital has effective processes in place to manage the option of donation when a patient dies. This process is often customized to the specific needs of each hospital and is continually evaluated to achieve desired outcomes.
Up-to-date continuing education is another benefit for hospitals that partner with Midwest Transplant Network. We provide continuing education opportunities that range from formal classroom seminars to one-on-one educational sessions for physicians and nurses who need current information on donation procedures.
